Donations
The Forest Hill Cemetery is a non-profit organization and a registered charity. Donations may be made directly to the cemetery to support the ongoing work to maintain our beautiful and historic cemetery.
Donations may be made in the following manner:
Drop off cash or cheque:
• The cemetery office (May through October) during normal business hours,
• The administration office Monday through Thursday 9 am to 1 pm

150th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign
Beautification Project
In recognition of its 150th anniversary the Forest Hill Cemetery Company is conducting a fund-raising campaign. The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to cover the costs of extraordinary expenses for the beautification of the cemetery. These funds will be used to improve:
Signage
Providing signage for the cemetery at the main entrance, as well as for the identification of cemetery sections, parking areas and cemetery rules.
Landscape
We have recently improved drainage conditions at the Urn Garden. Additional improvements to drainage are required in Section J, above the Legion plot and to repair and upgrade roads throughout the cemetery.
Monuments
Monuments and gravestones are the responsibility or the lot holder. Unfortunately, we do not have contact information for some families. Funds are needed to repair fallen stones and improve the look of the cemetery.
Equipment
The board replaces lawn care equipment from its operating budget. However, we also utilize a tractor unit for interments, repairs and cleanup. This equipment needs to be replaced.
Trees
A welcome feature of our cemetery is the mature trees that contribute to the peaceful setting. We would like to provide additional trees, to provide shade and landscaping in the upper sections, urn garden and Legion area.
Security
Given recent challenges to our community we wish to provide gates to control access in the off season and to harden building security on site.
These projects are all aimed at improving the beautification of the cemetery. Our estimated cost of these items is $250,000. The Board of Directors believe that with your help this objective can be met. The Forest Hill Cemetery is owned by the lot holders. Please join us in contributing to the ongoing cost and efforts to beatify our historic cemetery.
